Phänomen Granit 25H

Original: The aircooled ruggid Granit was designed 25H (Heer = Army) for the Wehrmacht. A solid workhorse for the medical units.

Model: 35th scale, Italeri Horch M reworked with sheets to look like the Phänomen 25H.

Build: Someone's hard work to make a Horch Kfz.15 into a Phänomen Granit (4x4 versus 4x2, wheelbase difference and different fenders) ended up on a diorama. It had lost its headlights and other details. The roof was almost loose. It deserved better. A simple touch up makes a big difference.

Re-atching the roof after flattening it, re-ataching the wheels, new blinkers, mirror and headlights. The distance poles where on the original build, so lets make them a pair again. Some touching up of paint and decals and presto, fixed.

By the re working of the Marktzicht diorama, this little fellow became a spare. I always knew there was something odd about is. Little had I expected it being a vintage scratch project! The roof was almost loose, so room for some cleannig and fixing.
