Details : Nr 47 (licenseplate L-34230) is delivered on April 23th 1938 to the GVU(Gemeentelijk vervoerbedrijf Utrecht > Public municipal transport of Utrecht). Mr. Steenmeijer published a nice article in the mayor (than) Dutch modelers periodical in 1983. All black and white than. I polished up and colored his nice drawings. The model is convincing, although the headlights are too high up as with most Italeri Blitzes of those days. He used an strechted, but furrther unaltered chassis, so the floor is too high. It's internal color is light grey. The model has 12 benches for two persons from iron wire and tin.

I finnaly got my hands on the original. A 33 year old article in black and white, and the cherry on the pie: a color picture from the cover! A breathtaking conversion in those day. Even to today's standards a master piece. Hopefullt I survived to be in a museum.
